Tin Bird Nov Market Day
What an awesome day at I ♥ Market last Saturday. Weather always a factor and after rain all week the sun came out and what a gorgeous day. Thanks again for the Tin Bird supporters - so appreciated! Next market is the 3rd Dec. There are 2 more markets after that one - which means 3 markets in a row. Great opportunity to acquire some creative gifts for Christmas!

Holly Jolly Tags
In case you haven't noticed - Christmas decor has exploded in the shops. I found these novel tags at Mr Price, 6 for R13.99. Also picked up some gift wrap for my stash.

I ♥ Market time again
Tin Bird will be at I ♥ Market next week. It was a tad windy last month so they are moving the tent down to the lower level, under the rubber trees in front of Ninos. Spread the word...

When life gives you lemons
Make lemonade as the saying goes! Using one's imagination and a tad bit of flair...
Step 1:
Grab a lemon yellow inspired outfit like this vintage lemonade gingham skirt
Step 2:
Grab some lemons. These gorgeous lemons are from my lemon tree.
Step 3:
Make refreshing lemonade:
Lemonade Recipe:
Ingredients:
350g white sugar
8 cups of water
355 ml (1 1/2 cups) lemon juice
Method:
1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Allow to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until chilled.
2. Remove seeds from lemon juice, but leave pulp. In pitcher, stir together chilled syrup, lemon juice and remaining 7 cups water.
You can use your imagination and add slices of apple, strawberries or orange. Or stick to a classic like adding Mint leaves.
Step 4:
Build vintage inspired lemonade stand. This amazing stand was built by Lil' Luna. I {heart} it!!!
Step 5:
Sell lemonade for 5 cents and retire comfortably ;-)
