Who's the fairest unicorn of them all?

On one of my recent thrifting trips I discovered this exquisite unicorn tapestry. I couldn't resist her for my daughter's room; look at the detail. I want to change the frame of course. My little principessa is very pleased!

When life gives you lemons

Make lemonade as the saying goes! Using one's imagination and a tad bit of flair...


Step 1:
Grab a lemon yellow inspired outfit like this vintage lemonade gingham skirt

Step 2:
Grab some lemons. These gorgeous lemons are from my lemon tree.

Step 3:
Make refreshing lemonade:

Lemonade Recipe:
Ingredients:
350g white sugar
8 cups of water
355 ml (1 1/2 cups) lemon juice


Method:
1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Allow to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until chilled.
2. Remove seeds from lemon juice, but leave pulp. In pitcher, stir together chilled syrup, lemon juice and remaining 7 cups water.


You can use your imagination and add slices of apple, strawberries or orange. Or stick to a classic like adding Mint leaves.


Step 4:
Build vintage inspired lemonade stand. This amazing stand was built by Lil' Luna. I {heart} it!!!

Step 5:
Sell lemonade for 5 cents and retire comfortably ;-)

Lovely Surprise

I got some good news from Nadia at Cupcake Couture that Tin Bird is the winner of the Lady Jane Vintage Giveaway. What a pleasant surprise to make my week. Looking forward to using the MOR gloss (always got some gloss in my handbag) and I can't wait to try on my earrings from Genevieve Motley! Thanks so much ladies!

I've been quiet on the posting side, due to being busy with some freelance work. Sometimes one longs for a little escapism from the usual routine. Lately I've been thinking of scuba diving.
